SUSTAINABILITY

MATTHIAS J. PEARSON - ARCHITECT - AIA

Why SUSTAINABLE?

The work of the studio is based on the premise that good design is integral with sustainable design. They are really one and the same. Sustainable practice grows out of the importance of place (adapting to and caring for a specific location), livability (enhancing the value of everyday life), quality (in design and construction), conservation (of physical and financial resources) and abundance (designing spaces to reveal the beauty of creation - Psalm 19:4).

Experience

Pearson has been a featured speaker at the Sustainable Arkansas Convention and multiple area USGBC events discussing  his  LEED certified projects as well as the merits of sustainable home design.
